Teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. -Titus 2:3-5

This is designed to offer encouragement, comfort and compassion to women experiencing the difficulties following the death of their husband.
Our desire is to reach out to widows of all ages in their time of need, providing emotional, spiritual and, if possible, physical support.
This is a special gathering where all enjoy godly fellowship, a challenge from the Word of God, catching-up with old friends and meeting new, all while savoring yummy muffins and a mug of hot coffee, tea, cocoa or cider (depending on the season). Muffins and hot beverages provided. Bring your favorite mug and join us!

Secret sisters is about encouraging, supporting, and edifying one another in prayer as well as with personal notes, cards, and small gifts. It is a ministry between you and another "sister" in our church family. You become her secret encourager and prayer partner for a set period of time (we take summers off). She doesn't know who you are, but she will know you are there, encouraging and praying for her.
